Eisen Ikeda (or Keisai) (1790-1848) drew the pictures for the three books whose titles are shown below. Click on a title to see the book's pictures of flowers and (or) birds. Eisen usually drew the shapes of his flower and bird subjects in a true-to-life way but he did not always color them accurately.
